Most Unified Communications vendors have created their product by integrating different pieces of software - often produced by third party suppliers and built on a different code base - into one offering. As a result, they require several servers to run separate products.
Zeacom has an entirely different approach. Our solutions are truly unified, since they are built from the ground up on a single code base. ZCC runs on a single server and brings together presence, unified messaging, mobility, desktop telephony, the contact center, operator console functionality and much more into one application. As a result of our unique approach, ZCC also provides one reporting engine and one administration environment.

Presence
Rich Presence gives you a bird’s eye view of the organization by providing real-time information on the whereabouts and availability of staff regardless of their location. Since it is based on mouse, keyboard or phone activity, as well as a person's calendar schedule, there is no uncertainty whether somebody is actually at their desk or elsewhere. Rich Presence makes first call resolution a reality, improving the quality of your internal and external interactions. It saves everybody time, all the time, and enables you to communicate more efficiently across the entire organization.

No More Voice Mail Jail: With Rich Presence, you have instant access to information about a co-worker’s status and availability, allowing you to make contact the first time you call.
Need to find someone urgently? Presence will tell you where they are, what meeting they are in and when they are due back. You can even be automatically notified when they return to their desk or get off the phone, making phone tag a thing of the past. When you are on a sales call or trying to resolve a customer service inquiry you can quickly find a company 'expert' who is actually at their desk. As you IM them or put all parties on a conference call, you can close the call right there and then, and that can mean the difference between a satisfied customer and a disgruntled one.
Mobility
Mobility means giving callers just one number to contact you, no matter where you are. Your business contacts will be able to reach you anywhere, anytime, by simply calling your office phone number. Why force your most important callers to leave a message, be transferred to someone else or call multiple numbers hoping to catch up with you? Mobility gives you the freedom to control how, when, where and with whom you communicate.
One Number to Contact You Anywhere: With Mobility, your callers are automatically redirected to your mobile phone, whenever you step away from your desk. There’s no need for callers to hang up and try your mobile or press keys to be redirected. It is simple and transparent for you and your callers to connect anywhere, anytime.
Above all, Mobility puts you in the driver’s seat. You could, for example, choose to only direct high priority callers to your mobile. You can also easily hand off calls between your desk phone and the mobile. Executive Desktop
More and more organizations use personal phone numbers to by-pass the company operator and get callers to talk directly to employees. Executive Desktop enables everybody to handle those calls efficiently, while delivering great customer service.
Users can manage internal and external calls quickly and easily from their PC. They can see the availability of other staff members, using Presence. Desktop’s Phonebook allows you to store notes about special callers, which are screenpopped along with the caller name and number each time they call, so you’ll always be prepared. Executive Desktop provides simple and intuitive GUI administration of the user’s Voice Messaging mailbox as well as easy access to all mailbox functions.
Desktop Telephony Applications
Desktop Telephony functionality gives staff better control over their contact handling, allowing them to manage their internal and external calls, voice messages, faxes and chats with ease from their PC. Desktop Telephony also allows you to record conversations and administer all aspects of your voice mailbox from your PC.
Reaching someone’s generic voice messaging greeting can be an irritating experience for many callers, particularly when the call is urgent. Zeacom’s Voice Messaging can play personalized greetings and options to callers based on their Calling Line ID. When you can’t be there to answer a phone call, it’s nice to know you can leave your callers an informative greeting based on your current/expected availability or that you can automatically route the caller elsewhere so that they get the service they deserve.
Desktop Telephony makes advanced telephony features and voice messaging functions easy to use. Executive Insight allows Microsoft Outlook users to manage all their communications from within their email application. Microsoft Outlook Integration - Unified Messaging
Zeacom’s Unified Messaging lets you access and manage both voice and fax messages from within your email application. Unified Messaging users have the power to control how, when and in what order they wish to respond to voice and fax messages, just as they do with email messages. Microsoft Outlook Integration - Fax Messaging
Fax Messaging is the final component to complete Zeacom’s Unified Messaging offering. Unified Messaging can be defined as an advanced message management solution that covers all media types: phone, email, voice messaging and fax. It allows access to any message from any application, at any time. Unified Messaging creates a single infrastructure for managing multimedia contacts allowing users to access their messages via whatever mechanism they prefer, or is convenient for them at the time. Fax Messaging provides management of fax traffic from within Console, Desktop or Unified Messaging. Fax Messaging allows the traditional phone call management features and tools provided by the Messaging suite to be applied to fax media. Faxes can be viewed and printed in Console, Desktop or Microsoft Outlook.

Are you tired of waiting at the fax machine for faxes to arrive – or worse still, missing them because they’ve got caught up in a pile of other work for somebody else?
